I'm the best improved/progress student for dance! OMG! I'm over the moon, you will never understand how i feel. It's like something you always wanted to do, something you once thot that it's impossible in your hands, something that people laughed at when you told them your affection towards it but now, you've got acknowledged.

I know i still have a long way to go in this area. Sometimes it's those negative comments that motivate you. That saturday, 6th feb, i wont forget, the day where i regained my confidence, where i made this little pledge in my heart that i'll strive in this area and nv to give up no matter how tough the route ahead may be. :)

This semester is coming to an end. Never had i been so worn out before, this semester is really making me crazy but at the same time i really enjoyed those project days. I think I'll missed those days very much. Because of the tight schedule, it had made me realised how precious time is and i get to value it more. Now, the last major project is almost done and submission date is just few hours away from now. I'm happy because the next thing to do is to relax, but a little sad too as this marked the ending of my year 2.2. Feeling of dismay always naturally occur to me at the end of any event. I always wanted everything to last a little longer ...

The stayover where we spent the whole night rushing projects were fun and a new experience to me. It's tough; Time and again, ideas seem to play hide-and-seek with us, nevertheless, angels were up there protecting over us and replenishing our drained brains with innovative ideas. :) I'm a person who likes to complete my work at home, but now this seems untrue to a certain extent. Rushing project till late night in school yesterday was really fun. Few potential jokers made the com lab filled with our laughter when everyone was so exhausted. Yup, last thing to say is that hopefully our hardwork pay off. :)

And yea, in the year of the tiger, 2010, I'm prepared to be an all rounded student division. :)

YWD Formation Day!

This time round, the cheer leading dance was much better than the one we put up on CFG! And the most delighting news is that the hall was almost packed, with a total of 180 audiences, and it's so pleasing to see all those non-members especially and also the other members, coming down to support Thomson zone ywd formation day!

Nxt, the 2 testimonials were very inspiring by Zhiyin and jingko. I'm extremely moved by Zhiyin's testimonial and trying my best to hold back my tears. I think/hope the others felt the same too. :) All those struggles made her the person she is now, a person with strong faith and optimistic mind-set!

And yeah, i'm looking foward to the post celebration on August 2nd. :)

Recently, i was reading this book titled ' Only Fat People Skip Breakfast '. From the title i think many can infer that it's a book for people who wants to be slim. And do u see the word, WANT TO BE SLIM and not DIETING! There's difference between these 2 phases. The former phases refer having/eating in a way that u control the food u eat which means that u are free to eat anything u like but not those obvious fattening food and also not food containing REFINE SUGAR. Whereas the latter one refer to having food controlling ur diet which means u only eat the food that are written on diet books or u count calories or u follow some diets such as Atkins' diet. Yup, so that's the difference. The former one will be suitable for people who wants to be slim for the rest of their life & also bear in mind that the figure in ur balancing scale will not drop dramatically, it will drop gradually with time. For the latter one, ur weight drops so fast but at the same time, it will come back to u again with the same speed. :)

Furthermore, the book teaches u about ur mind set and how to stop binging. Statistics have shown, many females tend to binge when they are stressed out or don't feel right, etc. Yup, this book is so useful and logical (because it's written by a dietitian), it tells u how to be a slim person not only by teaching u how to deal with food but also teaches u about ur mindset. :)

So to sum up, this is a good book! :P

School reopened, and papers were returned back to their owners. Mentally prepared for my FPQA and APFS results, but i do hope miracle happen - i know they usually don't. :)
Anyway, result isn't the no.1 most important thing (that's what many people say), realised ur mistakes now and avoid repeating the same old mistakes again is then the most crucial thing to do.

Hey, this is me! Grabbed this photo from Wee's blog. :)

Headed down to City Hall for the Peranakan trip, i mean to the Peranakan's museum. The museum is just beside SMU, business building, that's what the directory says. The museum is not very big compared to the other one i went the other time. Anyway, it's a 3-storey building and sadly, we were the only teenagers there. Other than ang mor, there were little kids & parents as well. Anyway, back to the topic, at the museum, there were many peranakan's jewelleries on display and each and everyone of them sparkles. *Bling Bling Bling* Other than jewelleries, they also showcased kabaya, glassware, etc etc.

And here comes the scary part, we entered the religious corner, it showcased the different peranakan religions and altars. Some were Christian and some were Buddhist. Then we walked to a dead end, on the wall hung a mirror marked with a big cross, beside the mirror was a coffin, behind us were statues wearing different costume during different occasion and i mean occasion as in ceremonies of the dead. The coffin was enclosed with glass window, & we were like so engrossed with the mirror, wondering the meaning behind the big cross on the mirror and suddenly both of us saw something's moving.. We thought we saw something we shouldn't be seeing. OH MY GOSH! It was the reflection of my bag! this scared the hell out of us man! Until now, when i think back, i still have goosebumps. I must really really emphasized that the place was super duper eerie!

Yea, so these are some of the many things we saw/happened in the museum. :) And yes, we ate astons for lunch at Suntec. The waiter there was trying to be funny, he wanted to join us for lunch. Anyway, i ordered grill fish with herbs again! & this time, the fish was burnt!!! And u noe, when food gets burnt, it turns chao ta and gets bitter. & the fish i ate was very bitter, even the herb sauce cant cover the bitter taste. But i still finish the fish regardless of it's chao ta taste - Food are precious, do not waste them! My slogan~ :)

Btw, since the day i heard Olivia Ong's - Close To You, i'm so addicted to her songs, especially 'Close To You'. It's so soothing, relaxing, distressing and whatever you can describe it! Like u can imagine, a group of friends having high tea in the garden on a breezy Saturday afternoon. HAha! ok, this is a long post & i'll upload those pictures taken at the museum soon. :)

1st wk of sch was GREAT! no tut and prac, only lec. YEAH! and today sylvia really make my day! After such a long holis, she has gone crazy! I laughed my lungs out man! haha .. During our last lec of the day, NLS, we composed our new song - dua pui siao, jing & na.

Yea, anw FPQA teacher was kind enough to let us choose our group members but i'm still in the same group as ys! Next, cds, Spore Law tut was okay for me but the lecture was damn boring and i dun understand a single thing. Anna and i were very lost during lec. btw, my group got 'Euthenasia' for the project.

And fri dinner was fun! hahhhhahaahha...

School reopening soon, and i still haven meet cel yet. Nxt, i was talking to wee about cycling at East Coast Park the other time and the rental fee is real cheap - $4 for 3 hrs if i'm not wrong, someone told me. I never cycle at East Coast Park before and i found out the cycling path was long, a long stretch, and the most important thing is that there are many restaurants to choose from. So after cycling, we can eat! Don't have to worry about food!

A week ended with combine school concert held at Dunman High School. The performance was great, the standard of every school was almost there and to my surprise, LYSGuzheng really put up a marvellous performance. Their actions were neat, and their skills were so much better than the previous competition batch(my batch). i think they have the potential to get Gold this coming SYF. If they really get Gold, i think the school will be so proud of them cause no CCA had ever gotten a Gold yet. Mrs Chew had ever told us that her greatest wish is to see us getting a gold and she can leave the school proudly or something like that, and she thot we could pluck a gold the last SYF but sadly, we just got a silver. So, hope this time round, the juniors wont disappoint Mrs Chew again. :)

A8A2 class BBQ

this wk was another busy yet satisfying wk. and yea, i finally got to meet up with my classmates for class bbq. had many nice food and played many games as well. so a whole bunch of us were playing a game called ' black magic ' and i felt really stupid cause at the end of the game, most of them knew the trick behind it except me and they told me unless i take picture with ys, they'll kept me unknown. so they were using this to threaten me! this was anna idea, evil anna.

oh yah, before this game, we played another game called ' go, jump, go ' something like that. this was played like the multiple of 3, so whenever it comes to the multiple of 3 or the no. had a 3 then the person had to say ' go ' or ' jump ' and i hate this game cause my brain function a bit slower than normal, haha, so i always go blank! as expected, i got forfeited, and ys had to feed me beehoon, looks like he's the one gotten forfeited. both of us were like super 'wu nai' ok. at least we got sportmanship!

the other games were just as lame as the 'black magic', even though it's lame but i still cracked my brain and squeeze my brain juice to figure out the ans, but still the ans were wrong! all the games were super lame, so the ans were non-logical one. i got myself exhausted (brain) after this bbq. actually, we should just eat and chat lo. there's no need to play all those games mah! HAHA!!! i'm damn lousy at brain teasers.

also, slyvia was so high during the bbq and thanks je for the gift u brought back from China. :) ok, bye bye ~ will upload more pictures sooon!

yeah! 17 more days before school reopens and i haven got my timetable yet. i want my timetable. quick quick! tp's system is really slow. haha .. and i realised i've 6 modules including CSAS and APPEL for the coming sem. all the other modules are food related ones except the 2 mentioned earlier, so which means that everyday i will only get to see FSN people. no more modules like Bmic/HAP for us to interact with other courses. seems boring huh .. but mayb i should put it in another way, mayb it is a good thing cos sometimes misunderstanding may arise when there's too much interaction.

hello hello! i'll be attending a tarot card reading seminar on the 2nd of may, a sat, at toa payoh and participants will receive a free set of tarot cards worth $22. isn't it cool? after this seminar, i think i can roughly predict my friend's destiny. however, my mother hope that i can join baking workshop. u noe, baking should not be a problem to me, when i can just read the recipe and follow the steps. i wanted to learn something different, something not everyone knows. :) and i wna learn more things/talents in the future!

yoyo! went k singing with janet. really love singing with her, because we always scream like mad. and i think i haven been visiting kbox for so long until i took like 10mins to figure out how to use the remote control. the 2 of us were so high, scream until my throat pain. then janet brought beer from her house to celebrate that i'm 18, legal age to drink. so each of us drank a can, and i didnt really feel dizzy. yea, i'm jiu hou! HAHA! and thanks for the present. really appreciate it. :) i also realised the bear, mirror and wrapper are all pink.

yeah yeah! i found out more and more people around me are getting very 'zai'. i'm not exceptional. i'm also a member of zai club, had been staying at home for so long and yeah! i'm so excited cos sch is reopening soon! yes yes! after such a long break, finally i can see my friends and get busy with work! hopefully a new sem will be filled with fun and excitement. i'm so looking forward to it. :)

another thing, i'm extremely envious of cel lah! she went to taiwan and told me there's a lot of nice clothes and shoes etc. haiyo, i also wna go! i wna go taiwan, japan, korea with friends and family. so *hint hint*, mayb nxt yr bady present can be air ticket to taiwan, japan or korea. :)

had a sense of fulfilment, because i had gone down for both SD meeting and chapt daimoku kai on sat and sun respectively. this time, i didnt give excuses. cos previously, i used to give as many excuses as possible in order to siam for my sd meeting. yup, so now mayb it's because i'm getting older and tend to do things in a more mature way? haha.

ok, and ytd was a miracle for me! let me put it in another word, it should be a break through for me because i stayed back for games and bbq until 9pm which seem so impossible for me. it may seem nothing for many people but because i'm not very close with the rest, and i'm more introvert. yup, so mixing around with the rest seems a little tougher for me and especially, when i'm not even close to anyone of them. mostly are acquaintance to me.

i often encounter difficulties when mixing around, this is the biggest challenge for me. i jus cant open up to people that i'm not close with. i really envy those that can really talk/mingle around in any circumstances. ok, i'll stop here. i think i sound a little zi bi. haha .. jus feeling a bit down.

i think i'm contradicting, the first paragraph i sound like i'm happy and the last paragraph, i sound so sad. haha .. i also dont know what am i thinking. hahaa .. ok, bye~

yeah yeah! on the 17th, nxt tue, my family and i will be going to sing k for my birthday celebration! yeah! i'm so looking forward to this day!!!! hahaha .. can let my appa and eomma to hear my fantastic voice!!!!! hahaha .. these few days, a bit korean siao cos i'm so into korean drama - boys over flowers. and and i found a korean girl band-girls generation(少女时代) , all of them are so slim .. my goal is to be like them! mayb 10 years later i will be like them. and even though i dont understand a single word, but i still like their song.

another event i'm looking forward to is fri and sat. fri, i'll be watching ' coming soon' with cel and wee then sat will be having O&G meeting for TPSDians and after that will be having bbq at tannah merah. hope a lot of ppl will be able to join us on sat! :)

yesterday went to tampines sakura for lunch with wee and cel for my advance birthday celebration. i'm really happy to celebrate my birthday with all of u. we were actually supposed to meet at 11.30 at my house's bus stop but everyone was kinda busy with making-up. so we meet a little later then wee was even later so in the end we reach sakura at around 1. then we kept eating.. we were the 2nd last to leave, it was until the waiter told us then we leave because we took too many food and cant finish them. actually i think i was the one who took so many food. yup, and so after lunch we slack at safra. found a place, settle down and contiune chatting & also ' snap snap ' cam-whoring. after which we head off to my house for horror movie but i would say, it was rather gruesome. it was a japanese movie and super no link!! i really have no idea what the movie is talking about but the whole show was bloody and disgusting so not bad lo, at least it didnt disappoint me. yup, so that was my birthday celebration. mayb it dont seem so grand but i'm alrdy satisfied and really thank you all for remembering my birthday! haha ... thanks a lot!!! :) and thank you wee for the present! :)

today, gotten my results. all Bs and Cs again but i improved a little lah. so i'm ok with it. haha .. i will work extra harder nxt sem, i promised! and jiayi also, dun be too stress over ur results. :) stay happy and pretty everyone! bye bye~

went to bugis with mummy. she wna buy scarf cos she will be going to taiwan soon. so envy her! ok, so went a lot of places to check out the price of scarf. most of the price ranges from $18 to $30. ok, then we also went to the Arab street or something like that, the one near kampong glam. after that, we went back to bugis junction for high tea. yeah! on the 10th, i'm going to teoheng with cel and wee for my bday celebration! :)

yea yea, now it's time for me to slim down! hmmm .. i think i gained 2 to 3 kg during the exam period. i need to minus off those extra 2 to 3 kg on my body. my goal is to lose 5kg. nxt, i'm extremely excited abt the stay over at anna's house! nxt friday, i supposed. :) and coming mon, we'll be having captain's ball game with the class. then tue, will be going out with mummy .. it had been so long since we last met, i'm so excited!

yeah! last paper! had been studying like hell for these few weeks, but i turned out to had made so much careless mistakes for my mst2 paper and bnf paper which i had studied so hard. i felt so stupid, i'm so angry with myself. anw, everything is over .. no point crying over spilled milk. :)

many things happened during these few weeks and i'm so so so distracted. anyway, everything is solved! we are just fated to be in a group of 6, not 7 or 5 but 6! yup. :)
back to topic, went to sing k straight after bnf paper. the 6 of us + bk, went to aston for lunch and then teoheng for singing. the singing session was so fun, really enjoyed today's outing with all of you! anna and i felt so bored while je and jy were singing so we started to zilian ... soon after, sly joined in and it's so fun! will upload the photos soon~

after singing session, anna, bk and i went to jake's house. malcolm and ys were there too .. then we played games till 2230 and then start to make our way home. yea, what a tight schdule i had today! haha .. alright, nights!

just had my music test early in the morning. the test was split into 2 parts - first was the written paper and 2nd part was the listening part. both parts were disaster to me, i also have no idea what am i writing, just keep writing rubbish to fill the spaces. hope that those crap i wrote can help me gain some marks.

hi to all, i've created a new blog because i cant sign in to my old account! damn sway! anw, many things happened during these few weeks and i'm having fun in school. :) it's coming to the end of the semester soon. i like this semester a lot, dont want it to end so soon. haha ..

many things happened ..
on the 30th of jan, the whole bunch of us went to anna's house for steamboat and after steamboat was mahjong mahjong. and anna was damn ji dong lah, shouted ' pong ' until the whole house can hear. haha.. and so we played until 10 plus, closed to 11. then took bus 18 home with jake. thanks anna and anna's mum for the fulfilling dinner and the angbao!!!!

4th of feb, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIMIN! it was simin's 18 birthday. ohh, 18 alrdy so fast. meet up soon ok! i know u must be missing me day and night.

it was also A8A2 Bmic lab test, and u know how anxious we were. the first task i did was pour plate. i looked at the bunsen burner, and i was stuned. it was the blue colour one and i dont know how to turn on the fire. luckily jake who was beside me showed me how to. thanks a lot! ahaha. :) then the rest of the tasks were not as difficult. anw, there were 4 tasks in total. yeah! and finally everything is over! i will miss bmic lab, how we slacked and played and looked into the other class.. :)

5th of feb, today, we had BNF interview. again, another important event. haha .. liyun and i were so super anxious and afriad of mdm ong's questions but thanks to AJ and ys, they made mdm ong laughed by crapping. haha .. and from then on, mdm ong also start to joke and the tense atmsphere was greatly reduced. yeah! our group got the highest for bnf project! i'm so happy, this was so unexcepted! & jiayi jiayi, dont cry ok! jiayou jiayou! where have the strong, confident jiayi gone to .. let's jiayou tgt!
